Edmonton, Mike's hometown, is located at Latitude 53° 32' N, about the same as Hamburg, Germany (53°34′ N). Edmonton:
- Was established in 1795 as a Hudson’s Bay Company post.1
- Was incorporated as a town in 1892 (population 700) and as a city in 1904 (population 8,350).
- Has the largest stretch of urban parkland in North America (160 km of paths and 20 parks).2
- Has over 70 golf courses, including the Victoria Golf Course, the oldest Municipal Golf Course in Canada (1896).3

We live in Millwoods, Edmonton near Mike's parents and sister and her children. We have a dog named Muskwa, 2 cats, Darwin and (Dorothy) Parker, angel fish & tetras, and a couple of frogs. |
